Jasen Dixon, A homeowner in Sycamore Township, took a unique and unusual take on the Jesus nativity scene this year.
“I wanted a nativity scene and I worked with what I had,” said Jasen. What he had were leftover props from a haunted house that he manages so he used those. For example, instead of having baby Jesus in the manger, he used a zombie baby.
A neighbor, Dan Fluker, said “I didn’t really pay it any attention until the different color lights came on, then finally the baby was put in the manger.”
According to Jasen, the neighbors don’t like it, his father hates it, and 30-40 cars stop daily to take pictures. But Jasen loves it, so it’s going to stay.
